Highlights On the northern island of Hokkaido, sits a pristine mountain range that captures perfectly the weather streams as they drift across from Siberia, dumping vast quantities of some of the lightest and driest powder snow found anywhere in the world.
Set deep in this incredible snow, is the small village of Hirafu, Niseko. With a vertical drop of 900m, legendary powder conditions, 18 lifts, 15m of snow a year, an official season 158 days long (100 with great snow) and runs to suit all levels of skiers, Niseko earns its reputation as one of the worlds best ski resorts.
I35@The Vale, Niseko is absolute ski-in ski-out and a snow boots throw from the best restaurants and night life. Designed by the worlds 2007 number one ranked architecture firm, Nikken Sekkei, 135@The Vale, Niseko offers 3 bedrooms (one a self contained studio), 160sqm of internal space and a view directly on to the ski run. It sets a whole new standard for Niseko! 2. What We Love
- Endless runs, incredible powder, low queues
- Even right down at the airport there is more snow than many resorts get AM ski out and then PM ski back in, mojitos at the après bar, plop into the Onsen, massage, izakaya dinner and hot sake, then hit the bars. Repeat daily.
- A great Japanese experience plus a ski holiday
- It’s impossible to make a snowball; the snow is too dry, too light, and too beautiful.
- The views from Annupuri and then skiing down all 900m of vertical drop
- Eclectic bars and restaurants, the jumbled town
- Night ski till 9pm through the trees, shadows and the moonlight
- For snowboarders, there is a terrain park and half pipes
- March spring skiing for families, the mountain to yourself and warmer weather
- The cost of food and lift tickets – great value!
- Sit in the lounge room and watch the kids learn to ski, call from the balcony when lunch is ready
-
Next door is a child minding center, ski school and rentals, but even better our building has the pool, Onsen, massage and restaurant, perfect!! 3. 67.5º and Kids Snow provides kids with the ideal playground and they can be entertained for hours from anything as simple as building snowmen, throwing snowballs to learning how to ski. Niseko can provide the following activities for families and many more;
